4. Use of our website
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the site in any way that may damage, disable or disrupt it.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or our systems.
- Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful activity.
- Copy, scrape or republish our content without our written permission.
5. Quotations, fees and payment
- All services are subject to the fees set out in our quotation or invoice, which we will communicate to you before we begin.
- Unless we agree otherwise in writing, payment is required upfront before work commences.
- Statutory and third-party fees are separate. Fees payable to CIPC, SARS, the NHBRC, the CIDB, PSIRA or any other authority are either included in your quote as a clearly stated disbursement or invoiced to you in addition to our professional fee.
- Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
6. Your responsibilities as a client
To deliver your service we depend on you. You agree to:
- Give us complete, accurate and truthful information and documents.
- Supply supporting documents promptly, including certified identity documents, proof of address and any other document a regulator requires.
- Respond to our requests for information, signatures or approvals without undue delay.
- Tell us promptly if your details change.
We are not responsible for delays, rejections, penalties or additional costs caused by information or documents that are late, incomplete, inaccurate or fraudulent. Where a matter is delayed because we are waiting on you, we may place it on hold, and we may charge a reasonable re-submission fee if a regulator rejects an application for this reason.
7. Turnaround times
Any turnaround time we quote is an estimate based on our experience and normal regulator processing times. It is not a guarantee. Processing times are controlled by CIPC, SARS and other authorities and can be affected by system downtime, backlogs, load shedding, public holidays and queries raised by the authority.
8. Free business tools
We offer free tools on our website, including VAT and PAYE calculators, a payslip generator, an invoice and quotation generator, a company name checker and compliance checklists.
- These tools are provided free of charge, “as is”, for general guidance and convenience only.
- They do not constitute tax, legal, accounting or financial advice, and their results are not verified or approved by SARS, CIPC or any other authority.
- Tax rates, thresholds and rules change. We do not warrant that a tool reflects the current rates or that its output is accurate or complete.
- The company name checker performs a basic rules-based check only. It does not reserve a name and does not confirm that CIPC will approve it.
- Any document you generate with our tools, such as a payslip or invoice, remains your document and your responsibility. You must satisfy yourself that it is correct and legally compliant before you rely on it, issue it or submit it.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, these free tools.
9. Paid digital products
We also sell digital products, such as template packs and spreadsheet-based systems, which are delivered to you electronically.
- On payment you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the product for your own business or personal use.
- You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish or share the product, or offer it as your own product or as part of a service to third parties, without our written permission.
- Digital products are delivered by giving you access to a download. In terms of section 42(2) of ECTA, the seven-day cooling-off right does not apply to digital products once downloading has begun, and no refund is available once you have accessed or downloaded the product.
- Digital products are supplied “as is” and are not a substitute for professional advice. It remains your responsibility to check that any calculation or document produced is correct and compliant.
10. Refund and cancellation policy
Clients may request cancellation of services at any time by providing written notice.
Once work has commenced, Bekin Consulting reserves the right to charge an administrative and service fee of no less than 25% of the total quoted or invoiced amount.
Where work has already been partially or fully completed, the client remains liable for all work performed up to the date of cancellation. Any applicable third-party costs (including but not limited to CIPC, SARS or other regulatory fees) are strictly non-refundable, as these are paid over to the authority and cannot be recovered.
Refunds, where applicable, are processed at the sole discretion of Bekin Consulting and may be subject to deductions for time, resources and administrative costs already incurred. No refunds are issued for services that have already been completed and delivered.
A rejected or unsuccessful application is not a failure of service. Where an authority rejects, declines or delays an application despite us having submitted it correctly, our professional fee remains payable, because the fee covers the preparation and submission of the application and not the outcome.
11. Professional disclaimer
Bekin Consulting provides administrative, compliance and advisory services. We are not a government agency and we are not affiliated with CIPC, SARS or any other authority. We act as your appointed representative to prepare and lodge applications on your behalf.
Final approval of any application or registration rests with the relevant authority. We cannot guarantee approval outcomes, processing times or third-party decisions.
Information on this website is general guidance only and does not constitute legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. You should obtain professional advice for your specific circumstances before making a decision.
12. Accuracy of information
While we make every effort to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, legislation, fees and regulator requirements change frequently. We make no warranty as to the completeness, accuracy or reliability of the content on this website.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bekin Consulting will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of business, penalties or reputational harm, arising from the use of this website, our free tools, our digital products or our services.
Where we are found liable despite the above, our total liability is limited to the professional fees actually paid by you to us for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from gross negligence or fraud, or any right you may have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
14. Third-party links
Our website may contain links to external websites, such as CIPC and SARS. We provide these for convenience only and are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of those sites.

16. Privacy and POPIA
Your use of this website and our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
By using our services or website, you consent to Bekin Consulting collecting, storing and processing your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013, for service delivery, regulatory submissions and communication. We do not sell or unlawfully share your personal information. Full detail, including how to exercise your rights, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
17. Communication consent
By engaging with Bekin Consulting via WhatsApp, email or telephone, you consent to receive communication about your services through these channels, including updates, invoices, reminders and service-related notifications.
You may opt out of marketing communication at any time, using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by replying “STOP” on WhatsApp. Service-related communication will continue until your matter is complete.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
If a dispute arises, please contact us first at sales@bekinconsulting.co.za so that we can try to resolve it directly. If we cannot resolve it within 14 days, either party may pursue the matter through the appropriate South African forum, and you consent to the jurisdiction of the Magistrate’s Court having jurisdiction over you.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. The current version will always be published on this page, with the “last updated” date at the top. Continued use of our website or services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
